Curriculum

Easycare Academy Pre-school believes that by giving premium education it allows your child to have the best start to an educational career. Every care is taken to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and combine these into a structured programme covering all aspects of pre-school education and development.

Our unique curriculum includes:

  • structured learning programme and principles.
  • developing gross motor and fine motor skills;
  • acquiring skills in language (both English and Afrikaans);
  • mastering basic skills in mathematics;
  • auditive perception.

When learning is fun a child easily absorbs new information. Keeping this as our focal point, each week we develop a theme which allows the child to relate the work learned into a familiar environment and to incorporate the “fun” aspect into learning. When the fun goes out of play, so does the learning.

Common themes include “Our Environment” and “Animals”.

Qualified teachers

“Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions.”

At Easycare Pre-school, our teachers are appointed after a rigorous screening process ensuring that they are suitably qualified with a university degree or relevant three-year diploma from a reputable educational facility. We also require that they have at least ten years experience in teaching and dealing with children. Teachers need to fit in with the school’s culture and are required to be not only a “child” person but also have the ability to interact with parents.

Our pre-school keeps the classes small and intimate as we believe in giving “hands-on” personalized attention that allows the teacher time to concentrate on each child’s individual development. This is of particular importance as it enables our teachers to detect any possible learning or developmental difficulties early on in the child’s educational career. Therefore corrective action can be suggested and taken immediately.
